All interesting comments - great stuff to think about and try. And yes, closest waves are clearer, but I was spot focusing, I hoped, on the plane - maybe the angle of view. Will definitely give this other shots. |

The focus point seems to be on the closest waves to me. If you try this shot again with the P&S, try putting it in "landscape" mode, so that it will be shooting for distance only. I like the scene. I didn't know that these cameras worked that early in the day. : )

I agree with the previous comments... also perhaps a little more space on the right hand side. also maybe enhance in the noise to add a grainy feel. |

I would have preferred less sky and sea just enough to show where the plane was coming from and going to, but overall a good capture ! |

My eye is drawn immediately to the plane, and then to the trailing spray. I like the scene, but I am distracted by the noisy sky. Having the horizon on the 1/3 line instead of 1/4 might balance the composition a little better. |

It's a nice capture. I love the hills and how the small airplane really stands out. |

Nice shot, I think I would have preferred less sea in the foreground, but that's just me! |
