This is beautiful! I love how you have framed it too. The soft muted white suits this photo so well. Azaleas are so beautiful!

I know these flowers have very thin, almost transparent petals. This capture shows of this transparent whiteness very well. IMO, this is a white azalea in the shade & it's reflecting shade/shadows. I like it as is, except for the border which with it's sharp angularity expresses a too-different reality.

Azaleas are beautiful Kelli. I love the concept here. I love the frame although I'm not sure about the image extending into it. It seems to me to take away the nice softness of the flower.

Gorgeous flower and great capture. Could use some contrast and a dash of extra saturation on the leaves, but other than, she's a beaut. Good work!

Oh and as for the border, simply reduce the opacity til it's a very subtle bump. Or even just turn down the strength of the shadows.

they are lovley flowers arent they :) I would love to see this with the whites a bit whiter. border is perfect i think. adds a bit of "U" to the photo. wonderful work.

The whites aren't as white as they can be I think. I like the softness that permeates from this shot. The border would look better if it was a solid colour I think.

So delicate and light! Very pretty. I'm not crazy about the border either, but I'm also guilty of putting borders on shots and getting comments from the "border patrol" so I'm jaded. ;)

Don't be mad if I say that it looks a little flat or dingy for my liking and I'm not fond of that border. I like the other aspects of it though - comp, focus. Whaddo I know anyway. Looking forward to more though. :)

The white is spot on. I also like the sharp focus on the stamen leaving the front and rear edges of the flower slightly off the plane.
