Definately garbage now. My only complaint about this photo is that I wish the water were a bit calmer. As it is, with the ripples around the fish, it looks like the fish might be moving a bit. I trust your word that's he in fact dead, but the ripples kind of are out of place here. I think I might understand the ripples though, as without them, it would just be a dead fish in dark water. So maybe they make this a bit more interesting. Lighting is good, and focus is also very nice. Nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~hbunch7187~

Nice photo. I would have called it "Trashed Nature" or something like that. I like photos with a message :-) Nice job with the lighting, especially how it attracts the interest to the fish. -stephan

Doesnt anyone realize that if we kill the fish it effects us too? 7 Mags Coyote

I can't see why the water is poluted. The picture doesn't tell me if the fish died of polution or old age.

like the charcoal grey waters and ripples holding this dead fish. subtley ominous and the composition is quite good. (8) ~mcmurma

Very sad, indeed. However, you've made the water actually look good. Nice shot.

Despite the fairly depressing subject matter, this is a great photo. The textures and shadows are really good.

I like the content, very provoking. similar to another picture on here this week (dead fish trapped in waste.. I gave him a 6 BUT I like the way the water look desaturated so I will up yours to a 7... well done!

Great capture! I wonder if calm waters would not have made your "dead fish" seem more "dead".
