Dutch and Kiki Stempki left their home in Catoosa, Oklahoma and never came back.
When they left, the only things they took were the clothes on their backs and their pride and joy, a sassy blue boat they named, "The Stempki's". Dutch and Kiki loved that boat.
Some years later, the boat was found washed up on the shore of Lake Michigan in St. Ignace. The only things found in the boat were a Perry Como Greatest Hits CD, a book called "A Bartenders Friend" and a size 9 chartreuse pump. Kiki loved those pumps.
Some thought Dutch and Kiki had bought the farm but several months later Kiki's Aunt Bootsie received a phone call from someone claiming to be Kiki. The caller never said where they were, but she was sure that the cackling laugh belonged to Kiki. Dutch loved that laugh.

You are inspiring me to get out my 14-45 more but I cannot take as good photos as you. I love that sky and seeing the bridge in the background. Hehe Chartreuse Pump. Interesting story.

Is that the Mackinaw Bridge? Nice photo and good mystery.

The sky is spectacular and I like the choice of having it occupy a large percentage of the scene. The foreground, however, looks a bit off. Too much contrast perhaps?
