 i was going to enter this in 'every picture tells a story' but unsubmitted it at the last moment coz i didnt think it had a good enough story & i felt it would score badly ..
the story is the teenage years and that feeling of vulnerability, insecurity and confusion .. worry about their self image etc etc .. and the journey to find themselves .. etc etc ..

i did a black & white version that i considered too ..

I like the color version - the pale reds work well to underscore the vulnerability of teenage girl/woman years.

I also submitted and unsubmitted - who's to say what will do well. I think with a good title, this would have been well received. But that's just my little opinion.

This is also very strong but I like the black and white a little more and I don't know why I am saying that..... Both are very good.....
I really love your style of portraits that you have been taking lately.....
