 Shot at about 22.00 on a clear night, I waited for the plane to appear above the lights and pressed the remote shutter for as long as I guessed the plane would be in the frame (in this case 83 seconds). It was always unsure when the next plane would start to take off. Made a couple of shots, but this one has a nice triangle composition. Maybe not so obvious, but it's there!

The photo was cropped and slightly adjusted with curves and hue/sat, and saved for web.

Never seen anything like it before. I guess the dotted line is a flashing landing light on an aircraft. Unique.

I love the colours in this and the contrast between the deep blue sky at the top and the bright yellow lights at the bottom.
