 i had the macro lens on my camera, and as i was getting ready to upload pics from a drive through shenandoah national park the sunlight from my window was illuminating some flies which i had left out after a recent fly fishing trip. so, before i put the camera away i put some flies on an index card and took some pictures. only later when i was sorting through them did i realize that this would fit for the triangle challenge. i haven't entered challenges in a while, but i figured this was a great way to get back into it.

WOW this is so cool, a great macro, and I really like the composition and the fine detail that you have captured here.....
Just perfect for the triangle challenge, and I think it deserved a higher score than this..... Well done.....

I like the texture on this photo. The image is very sharp, and it has great depth of field. I also like the simplicity of it.

Interesting! It really shows me why a 'fly' should look like a fly to a fish. The shadow tells the story brilliantly.

Love the title :)
The black bars at top and bottom detract somewhat (they draw attention to themselves and away from the image itself). Wish you had a tad more depth of field, but a good effort. Nice comp with the long shadows, btw...
