 Another bumblebee on an azalea bush. I'm not thrilled with how the border came out, but I'm happy with the impressionist feel to the image, especially the beating wings.

I agree about the border being a little hard. Maybe it could be softened up a little by overlaying a vignette. The image is very pleasing to see, with it's gentle colors and soft focus.

for me there is just too much going on, the border, the beating wings, the flower, all these colors, but i do like those wings

Interesting, not sure I like it, I think because the bee doesn't have a lot of detail. Actually, looking at it again, I'm liking it more. The border needs to be darker, not so "frilly" to add to the feeling, IMO.

I love the impressionistic feel but I am not hot about the border. Great colors -- the darker tones add a little drama. Great capture!

the flowers are nice, maybe a little brighter? i agree with you about that border...that bee looks quite threatening
