 More of my dog, Paisley. One of these days I'll enter a side challenge and do 30 days of Paisley....but until then, I'll continue to use her as my model for challenges. Soon people will pick her out and know that it's one of my photos.

Yes, I know, ears are cut off, this was not a crop...it's the fullsize image. I wanted it that way to "focus" more on the face. I have a shot with everything in the frame and personally much prefer this take.

I created the soft focus with camera shake, shallow DOF, and long shutter speed....not even sure if this can be considered soft focus. I also wanted to use the light background to give the illusion of softness.

I doubt this will get out of the 4's. I'm just not a fan of any soft focus shot that I try to do. I'll sit the next one out if it comes around again.

the ears are a little distracting, not sure if this would of worked better if not cropped so tight, or maybe cropping it close to the face would have worked better, sweet looking dog
