ESTRAGON:
Let's go.
VLADIMIR:
We can't.
ESTRAGON:
Why not?
VLADIMIR:
We're waiting for Godot.
------
Taken at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse. He was just chillin'. I ran out of batteries or I would have had a lot more shots of him (I got about 4 total).

Lots of edits, none really important though. Some sharpening, hue shifted a bit. Nothing major. :)

Perfect title... Really adds another layer of meaning to the shot (and a great shot it is too).

Excellent capture! I feel sorry for any caged animal but he does look fairly relaxed here at least.

aww he is way too cute, although is in a desparte need of a manicure. I like this shot the way you have done it, although I would also like to see a version with a tighter shot of the bears head. Both would work really well :) We miss out on cool animals like this in Oz lol I have to see a real bear one day :)

Estragon: Shall we go?
Vladmir: Yes. Let's go.
(No one moves).

I like the waiting posture of this bear. Nice light and mood, too.

The textures and contrasts of this photo are so interesting! I love the bear, he conveys a 'human' countenance here. Excellent!

Maybe that is Samuel Beckett-? lol Amazing shot. I do wish I could see his eyes just a little more. The Griz....a great spirit and very powerful.
Like this one very much.

Wonderful. What makes this special to me, besides the funny posture, is the fact that I can see enough of the white of his eyes to see them looking off in a direction and inferring one of many anthropomorphic attributes.

I wish I could just hang out here with him, instead of procrastinating at my desk like I'm doing right now. Just love the expression, the tones, texture, contrast and composition. I hope you do well! - 9

He looks so resigned to zoo life, comfortable in his home, good capture, I like that you didnt try to make him look like he was a wild bear.
