For once the DPC Gods were thinking about me. I was scheduled to take pics of the Anchor House Ride for Runaways Training Ride and up pops the announcement of the latest challenge, WOW!
Anchor House Ride for Runaways is a one-week, 500-mile (YES, MILE), charity bike ride to support Anchor House. Anchor House is a home for runaway/abused children in the greater Trenton NJ/eastern-PA area. My oldest son did the ride twice, my youngest son once, my husband is about to do his twelfth one, and I rode twice and am about to work support this year (in July). A great cause, and an even better workout.
The ride will be from Rutland VT to Trenton NJ.

| Excellent! Love everything about this shot, particularly the story behind it. Nicely done! (And I agree with yospiff - this says a lot to those of us who ride or at least used to ride, especially those of us who've ridden in charity events, though I've only done 150 miles!) |

| I think this deserved to place much higher. Perhaps this photo may be the sort that makes a stronger statement to a cyclist. I see a lot of high votes in the breakdown, so many did like it. |

| I feel like the contrast is really a bit much. The shadows around his nose are too bold. Other than that, the dop is great as well as the composition. |
