I really like the simplicity of this shot, the only problem is your reflection in the handlebar.

a refreshing entry in this challenge, nicely seen, composed, with a good use of negative space. 7

There is almost an imbalance of positive and negative space. This photograph would stand out more if the white strings on the handles were brighter and contrasted more with the background.

Is there anyone over 40 who did not have streamers on their first bike?

*Knock, knock*
JPEG Police here...

There is a lack of sharpness to this photo and I think most of it is due to the use of excessive JPEG compression. Your file size of only 35k indicates a highly compressed image and that is what is robbing a lot of the detail and sharpness from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (150k for this one)

The nature of the image covers it well, and I am likely the only one who will notice this.

wish you had the streamers blowing - then i'd get the feeling of a ride.

there is too much space in this. maybe a different angle of a completely different shot could have helped. the black background is a little boring too, maybe having an open road or something

Nice comp. appreciate your effort in trying to be different. Maybe if you could have brought out the intensity of the reds more , would have been great. 6

Great setup. Very simple and clean with good duotone colour. I think I see you shooting the photo in the reflection on the handle.
