I LOVE IT -9-..... no this gets the in famous !10! for now, may change as I am only 4% done but at least a 9 and a fav just for saying it. I was going to do the same thing for the camera shot, have my came, with smoke, a flower and water dropping in the same shot.

The contrast surrounding the droplet isnt enough to draw the eye to it (ie its background it too light) otherwise a nice thought for an entry :)

ha, ha, funny title. Definitely fits your image: you have the water droplet, a flower macro and blurred background. Yup - your title hits the nail on the head. I do like the overall softness

Very interesting shot. I love the colors, very smooth. Regarding matching the challenge. Is DPChallenge a word? Hum... I am not sure.

You might have tried to keep the defocused portions of the picture to either the front or the back or, if both, further from the sharp water drop. Clearly, the water drop is important to be in focus, so I believe I might have brought closer to the foreground.

Do I vote high or low...fantastic example of you title subject...but it is exactly that..so what to do, what to do? Guess I have to give it a 9, simply because the tips of the two petals in the foreground are OOF....maybe one more F-Stop to get them, but fade off into the nice, cliche' bokeh.
