 Pretty straight forward. I could have used just the grape hyacinths and iris but this is my favorite red gerbera daisy with the green center and it looked better than the either of the orange gerbera that I got.

Now I know it is a floral image so I doubt it will well. I actually had a creative idea involving S,T,U but weather and a parked car killed that. But don't threat, as long as the S is still at the location I may do it for the free study as I have the T and U at home. Not sure how it will turn out but I still want to try it.

Post: Camera Raw adjustments in PSElements 6.0. Convert to jpeg. Slight CCW rotation and crop. Crop again for aspect ratio. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. Spot edit for dust and imperfections in the gerbera petals. Sharpen. USM (15/50/0). Flip horizontal. Resize. Sharpen.

OK....my sister in law made a great moist rum cake and I got a slab of it to get to. Later.

Amazing clarity and depth of color. You have a magic touch with flowers. I particularly like the assortment you chose here - it works very well!

Some day I am going to have to learn how to take shots like this. Great color, held focus for all the flowers and stems. The black background really sets off the well saturated colors.
