 This image reminds me of the song 'Home on the range'
I yearn for a piece of my own.

Some will find this image daunting as it means its time once again to fire up the lawnmowers. It is imperative to keep the grasses cut to an acceptable height. It must match the neighbors finely manicured lawns. It always amazed me that as soon as you fire up the mower, how every neighbor around is forced out to their yards, to do the same... Noone wants to be labeled as the neighborhood bum.

I need OUT of this city!

Very pretty blend of spring colors. I like how you have the foreground and background out of focus and then chose to focus on the one strand in the middle. This probably should have scored higher than it did.

The opposite may have worked better, having the subject in soft focus and the background sharp. Maybe a closer cropping would emphasize the subject. It's better then mine, I haven't done a soft focus, yet.

These grass type shots are prime for soft focus. A very pleasing image.
