I like this one best because curve of the red petal seems to cradle the center of this flower like a tree 'cradles' a nest. Love the rich reds and the white & pink hues pop out nicely too! Shame the the center portion is not in sharp focus. You don't mention what Aperture, Shutter speed or ASA this was taken with. The reason why I mention that is that you can get some real nice Depth of Field where the majority of your composition will turn out in sharp focus with a 6.0 aperture and slower shutter speed 1/8 sec (you may have to experiment) and an ISO of 50. Of course you will need a tripod or an extremely steady hand. When going for a higher aperture, slower shutter and less grainy ISO speed you will get some very lovely macros (I have on several occassions) |
