This is Klaus again.
Cut off a drain pipe, rubber banded a waxed paper to one side, positioned a magnifying glass inside with paper towel light block around it (OK, it's not a pinhole camera). I tried rotating to make the obscura image upright, but it didn't look good. I tried to reshoot with zoom lens backed off more from camera obscura to get better focus overall and the camera the main subject, but ran out of daylight. I'm not expecting much from this and will probably be hurting my average by submitting it.

(post) Thanks for the comments. I rushed this out so fast. If I had time to look over the results I would have re-shot with focus only on the "camera" and low DOF on the background (much like some of those water drop shots) and placed the camera much more prominently for this challenge.

Shortly after I shot this we had a major scare with Klaus and our Cocker Spaniel "Asia". They both started stumbling around and bumping into things. Also their eyes were fully dilated. I brought Klaus to the vet the next day and they said he was virtually blind, probably due to toxins blocking the signal from the eyes to the brain. Klaus had finished off Asia's food, which contained her prescription Ivermectin for demodex mange, and the vet said those are the symptoms of Ivermectin overdose. The vet said Klaus would be OK after it wore off. He got better over the following two days and since then has been back to normal. No more Asia food for Klaus! We're throwing away the rest of the ivermectin and ordering more.

This is brilliant. It's sad that so many photographers don't know photography well enough to recognize it, even when the title gives it away.

I have to say that I would have been one who would not have realized where the camera was either lol. Now that I've read your comments I have to say what a clever photo this is! I love your placement of everything and good job getting Klaus to pose with you too.

Perhaps the camera is a little too far over in the corner, but it's definitely an original approach to this challenge.

Without the dog would have been better for me.

The camera does not seem to be the subject of this image. It's a nice photo though.

Unfortuantely this image appears out of focus to me. I am also drawn more towards the man and the dog than I am the 'camera' which, IMHO, is not the point of this challenge. This is just my humble opinion :o)
