Unfortunately, the interior of the Neuschwanstein Castle is a "no camera" zone. The castle tour guide gave us one reason, our tour guide for the bus trip gave us another - the damage caused by flash when used by up to 5000 people a day, every day, to the paintings and fabrics. With over 11,000 visitors a day at peak season, one could see where this could be a problem. We were allowed to shoot out the windows, though.

Another gorgeous one - shooting against the light like that really works to enhance the interior.

I didn't know they had tours inside the buildings - I thought you could only look at it from the outside. ;-)

I bet they wouldn't even let you swing from the chandelier, huh? Pffft. Killjoys.
Did you get a shot out that window or were you behind the infamous velvet rope with this shot?

This church looks as if it is located high in the Alps. What a breathtaking view. The architecture is beautiful as well. I think this is one tour that should be high on the list of everyone visiting Germany.
