 After visiting Neuschwanstein, our tour stopped at this church in a small town - looks rather nice but plain on the outside, but the inside is amazing!

(Wieskirche translates to "meadow church", and it is indeed located in a meadow.)

The website has much better pictures and nifty panoramic views - it's available in German and English.

I looked at the interior shots first, and even though you said it was plain on the outside, I still expected more than this. Love the mangy pony, lol!

The horse in the foreground absolutely makes this photo for me. The church is beautiful, but the horse gives it life.
