| Nice attempt, but the lighting on the eye is pretty harsh. Is this using the on-camera flash? Some side lighting with a bit of catch-light would really help this one. |

| Area around the eye seems overexposed and the eye color is unnatural. Great Mardi Gras theme though. |

| The composition seems a bit unbalanced and, more distracting, the eye beyond the mask is overexposed (flash ?) and slightly OOF. |

Not sure if it's intentional - but I like the fact that the hair matches the top feathers and the background matches the green ones :- )

| I've looked at this three times and it just keeps getting better. Very edgy. First the colors are wonderful. The crop works well, gives the feathers room to lead the eye. The off-center eye and the hint of the other eye hole seals the deal. 10 |

| The on camera flash is too harsh. It lost all of the contrast in the eyes. The image itself isn't bad its just not spectacular. Good luck though! |
