 I am going to go ahead and document this much earlier than usual cause its just kind of silly.

I just dropped out of the 7 range. Now i am not complaining - not by a long shot. But I must say that I have been confused alot with some of the scores I have been getting on my images. Images I thought would skyrocket dont and images I suspect will be in the mid 5s go the opposite direction as well. This is not a high 6 shot. I have to assume that through the rest of the week my score will drop steadily but I just dont know anymore. But what are you people thinking?

Anyways - just a silly shot of my boy wearing my clothes. They are a bit too big for the effect I wanted. I didnt take the wrinkles out, I didnt clean up the threads on the collar, my backdrop is messy, the lighting isnt the best. But I have an entry addiction so in it went.

PP - RAW conversion, S/H, selective color tweaks, level tweaks, NI, resize, USM, border and another round of S/H and selective color.

Post Challenge - Well look at that. I almost ribboned. LOL!!! There is just no way that this shot was .25 off of Louis' shot and .002 off of the yellow. Every image in the top 10 was better than this one. But who am I to complain. Thank you for the votes and great comments. You guys are making it hard for me to not enter silly setup shots. ;)

I kinda like this - a sentimental favorite for me.
[DPC: Don't you guys think it is time to have another section for sentimental favorites?]

Perhaps if the kid was shot looking into the mirror it wd have been a more 'natural' shot - just my thought.

I appreciate the fact that you think you just threw this shot together and that the lighting isn't perfect, but you created a wonderful shot here nevertheless. His stoic expression is great and the lens angle accentuates how big the clothes are on him. This was one of my favs in the challenge. My only complaint is that the red tie is oversaturated, otherwise, I love it wrinkles and all!

Carried on the cuteness and imaginative and well-executed setup factor, though to be fair, Joe should have beat you. :-) Oh, and the title is pretty good, too.

If this is Tim's image I know you're probably going to be annoyed I've recognised it! But you shouldn't worry as your shots are always inventive and interesting, and I like this one a lot too.

This is great! Totally reminds me of the subject in a painting in the movie "The Thomas Crowne Affair". Contrast maybe just a tad high.

I'm not sure I really go with this concept as a portrait as such. I feel that a portrait should articulate something of the individual inside the model - be it in the environment, expression, or just that look in the eyes, but here I don't feel any of those thongs. Just empty.
