Great use of perspective distortion here. |

Good start, and what an interesting WIDE lens. Wonder how it would look with more water / less house ? |

Very simple and yet tells a story. It's finally getting warm here and this makes me want to enjoy the great outdoors. |

Looks like a great way to start the day! I like the perspective. |

I quite like the increased contrast you pulled out here. I'm with wehrmacher as far as the crop goes simply because it takes out everything but the subject(s) and kinda makes me go hmmmmmmmm...? LOL :) |

Nice pool side scene with good perspective. |

the comments on this one have been fascinating to read, so I think it is a successful comp just because of that! wtg! |

very effective composition and it has a very casual feeling about it. Well done, and again, I can't wait to see where these sunglasses travel. |

Nice summery feel to it. It's winter here and this just makes me wish even more that summer would come soon. |

Oh what a lovely beach/pool scene!!! |

I like the composition, it definitely tells a story. Think a shallower DOF would work better, soften the background a little. I don't like the reflection in the glasses. |

Cool shot and edit gives great depth & color. |

Great perspective. Could place the title at first, but know I understand it's about the post processing (well done). Background takes a lot of attention, perhaps some blurring? |

great shot steve .. like the way you've given it more depth with your processing .. but where's naomi ??.. lol ..:) |

i love the boldness in the colors on this, but i also thing that cropping at the top of the pool like wehrmacher did adds to the image by removing background distractions. Another thing that I think could have been cool would have to had a person up in the top right corner of the pool either swimming or diving in, giving the sandals and shades an owner. Just a thought though. |

I like the POV, leading lines and bold colors. |

I really like the lines. I keep thinking of the invisible man when I look at this :) |

Nice shot.
What I really like are the lines of the brick pool edge disappearing back into infinity somewhere. I am not sure that cropping off the shot at the end of that edge wouldn't add to the strength of those lines. If I were really ambitious, I might try lengthening the pool edge so that it came closer to vanishing. The actual vanishing point is about the top of the bottom row of blocks in the wall behind, which also happens to be at about 1/3 of the width of the frame. Cloning in the pool water to fill; well, just a thought.
Anyway, very nice work.
Sorry, couldn't help myself. Here is what I was thinking, I guess. Just different.

I like what you've done. The contrast and crop both work nicely to make an interesting shot better.
Would it help to clone out the pool toys in the upper right? Maybe replace them with a bush? It isn't a big deal, but they don't really add to the shot. |

i like your POV on this one, and the way the eye travels finally into the pool, which is quite fetching |

Nice subtle processing to add just enough depth to the color. And cool shot - very southern Cal. :-) |

Great conveyance of a warm and sunny day feel, as well as that relaxed and laid back kind of day vibe. The great perspective is one of the things that I love about the super-wides, great lens and great choice for this side-challenge. |

Pool looks very inviting! My eyes are first drawn to the sandles then sunglasses then lead through the picture by the interesting lines of the pool edge, neat angle. |
