 Not so inspired as yesterday. This is a very sturdy colander, heavier aluminum but also old, and the one most often used for the evening lettuce picks, tonight including asparagus just up. (Resting on a bed of horsetails - one of those ideas that didn't quite work).

I like the composition, but I think I would like it better if it were in colour. But that might just be because green is my favorite colour.

Looks delicious, but overall, very centered and a little dark. Perhaps it could use some level adjustment.

I guess I will go against the crew and say that I like this in black and white. I think the grass around the colander is unnecessary and detracts from the beauty of the light captured on the lettuce. You have some interesting tones on the veggies that I think could be enhanced with a tad bit of contrast.

One would expect to see this one in color, but gee, I really like this black and white version very much. A strong image indeed.

Nice textures and lines. I am never sure how to pick which photos get changed to B&W. If you want to post the color one in your comments, we can all take a look at it.

Great image. the rim of the bowl encapsulates the "greens" nicely. love the tones. very nicely centered on the subjects.
