I like the simple and clean presentation of this final version rather than the cluttered and busy overlay of 'wallflowers' in the other version you posted. This is minimalistic high key at it's best. Those big, beautiful luminious eyes of this little girl really reach out and draw you in. I also like that she seems to be 'emerging' out from the right hand side of the composition...like she is stepping out from the light into our field of vision |

I really like this very much - except for the eyes. I can see that I am very much out on my own here, and I guess it just comes down to personal taste, and mine doesn't marry with others, but to me they appear almost soulless, whereas the in the unedited version they feel more like windows letting me in to the child. I am finding it hard to articulate just what I mean - ping me a PM if you wnat me try and explain further! |

You and Gwe21 do such fantastic B&W conversions! I've really got to learn how to do this... Her eyes are captivating. Crystal clear, with even a great amount of detail in the iris. |

Nice clean tones! I like the color version as well but the flower near her face in that one is a little distracting for me (it's too close to her eye). |

Love it. I have found that high key and high contrast are not big sellers on DPC although it is my favorite form of editing. Love the single arm and negative space to the right. |

I really love this version. I have wanted to learn how to do this for years, and it NEVER works for me.
10 out of 10 on this one. |

This one I love. The high key is beautiful. The eyes really pop but all of the detail of the hair is still there. Simply lovely. I'll bet your walls are bursting at the seams with prints of these lovely images :) |
