I appreciate how you managed not to be too visible in the reflection. You did this handheld? Wow. My pictures turn shake if a use triple zoom without a tripod...

Way to go Tony!! Proud of ya :)

How were you able to get the depth of field on the wheel thing while not getting the back image since you obviously had your aperture set pretty small to get the clarity you received in the reflected image?

This is fantastic, I love the composition, way all the circles are placed in the frame and the enormous depth of the image looking through the mirror. A definite favourite!

You've got arms of steel to get that clarity w/o a tripod! Nicely done!!

Many Thanks to everyone who voted on this - The funny thing is I wasn't going to enter this as I wasn't 100% happy. That is me sitting on the bench on the right. use the canon 70-200 F4 L Lens zoomed in at 200mm - Really happy that people like this photo. Regards Tony

Man! How did I miss this one? The limited color really helps the image.
I spotted you on the bench. Well spotted shot! I've always said that two thirds of
good photography is knowing where to point the camera.

Such a great capture - excellent dof, tells the story well, lots of different circles/wheels. One of my picks for a ribbon.

excellent composition, the way the line of the first balcony's railing aligns with the wheel elements adds a lot; very nice balance of the textures; seems the camera (on a tripod) should be showing in the mirror; my fav in the challenge

Good God, what a combination of elements and ages! I wish we could see the figure with the violin on th far right! Gorgeous sight! I'm sure it should win.

Cool photograph but the wheels just seem to be in the photo and really don't have anything to do with the focus or message

Gee, nice pic...like the expressions...hard to get the exposure right in this case-always a compromise. i like the organ music too!

The mirror is actually distracting, but the skeleton and wheels are interesting; although they could use a bit more contrast.

Dark, weird and very different. Should be a ribbon contender. I am so glad you didn't desat this to B&W, it would have stolen it's magic. the shift between the distorted world of color and life contrasts with the metal world of the dead.

The skeleton gives this a nice medieval touch. and the stark contrast of the convex mirror is very telling.

Stunning shot, well done!!! There is so much to look at here in this shot. Wheels everywhere, so many interesting evil looking figures behind the mirror and I really like how you've captured the people looking in to it. A great shot :-)

On close inspection, this is one of the most interesting photos in the wheels collection. I really like the juxtaposition of the reflected gallery and macabre machine. Nice subject matter artfully rendered.

Where was it taken?

While I know some people would say the main subject of the photo is the reflection and not the wheels, I still don't see how this one could not win a ribbon. Fantastic shot!

Wow i think its bloody amazing. It does so much in one shot, and everything is beautiful. Qualitys a bit off, but considering the size and everything on screen, i think its due to having to compress it at 150k. But i am very much loving it, my very first 10 in this challenge.
