OK, now that I've suggested this change, I'm going to suggest going back to what you had. :-) I think it's because the aspect ratio of the fuller frame fits the subject matter better. It seems a bit less balanced in this crop - think?
As for sharpening - I've never selectively applied it (or if I have, I don't remember). I suck at sharpening, though, and really need to read up more on how some of our more accomplished members do it to get such nice crisp detail without the artifacts! Keep up the experimenting - I'm learning from it, too. |

stunning colours .. love the way the leaf underneath seems to be cupping those flowers .. i sort'v prefer seeing more of the surroundings tho, like in your original crop, and the last two flowers on the left hand side .. .. just my personal preference .. :) |
