 Inspired by a William Albert Allard portrait of a Nevada buckaroo. Shot in my basement semi-studio against a black backdrop, single strobe in a beauty dish at camera left.

EDITING: increased color temperature in AdobeRAW; curves, B&W (opacity at 6%); non-destructive dodge & burn layer; flatten, resize, USM, save for web.

He-he. Looks like a city slicker that's duded himself up for a portrait. :-) It's a nice portrait overall. The colors are a little dull and bland (being really all the same brown tones).
