Old man has such an interesting face, but it gets lost in the photo. Also, the shadows are distracting. |

Good cowboys wear white hats, right? LOL! Wonderful portrait, though one thing I'd like better is if the whole horses head was in the frame. Still, I think this deserves an 8. |

The hats too new, the shirt is too new, and yet I̢۪m still convinced, just a bit more contrast and I believe you would be in the top 10%. |

A nice B/W conversion in covering the tonal range. Something about the composition doesn't feel right. I think it's the busy background and cutting off the horse's head. Good catchlights in the man's eyes. |
