Just thought I'd have some fun with the challenge. I download 3-4 Ransom fonts and was not real happy with any of them. This is a combination of two of them.

By the way, my wife is very supportive of my photography, so this has no basis at all in truth.

PP in Gimp
Crop Square
Curves
Clone/Heal Dust and minor shadows
Dodge/Burn
USM

Thanks for all the comments. This was my first attempt at a crude studio and I was having trouble with the lighting hence the ISO 400 and all the grain. I have solved the problems and will not do that again! The film was an attempt to show different photography items as clutter in the foreground. I still shoot film occasionally but I guess most DPC'ers do not and found the digital/analog mix at odds with each other. Point taken.

Your loving wife - ROFL
Funny one here. Beat her at her own game and use that film stuff *snicker*

Wonderful idea! Hope you got your roses, chocolates and apology. There is a lot of noise in this image, that spoils it a bit.

Funny! (I don't know, how many voters will actually read it...
Does it suggest you could still shoot with a film camera?

humor definitely scores you some points.... the image is super noisy though, did you maybe not have very much light? by your lens are you shooting w/ a sony? (that looks like a minolta maxxum lens)

I love how its signed "Your loving wife." Why did she leave film behind if she has your DSLR?

What a way to get your attention! I'm sure it worked. Great concept and imagination.

Cute, but shot is grainy and this really isn't the crime "scene" per se. Also, the film is for???

Perfect - you nailed it. Photo seems a little noisy. I guess you had to rely on a back up :-)

Very creative. The picture seems a little flat to me. I like how the ransom note is at an angle and some photo stuff at the bottom of the photo.

First off I love the concept! The actual photo has noise/grainy or both. Maybe to high on your ISO? I don't know specifically but thats what I see, I do love the ransom letter. Laid out perfectly, and if I may say so.....Very Appropriate. So kudos!!

LOL! Hahaha - It's funny because it's probably genuine! :) The note is great! The film... not so much. Good luck.

Flat and grainy, its interesting humor but does not give me good sense of a crime scene.

This is a really good idea. It would be nicer if this note would be less staged, and photo less noisy. Still a 7.

It appears a bit grainy to me, but it is a hilarious idea.
