 This is my neighbor's daughter. She graduated High School on Saturday.
Hannah is a very shy young lady and I have to give my wife credit for printing out a bunch of poses from the internet and helping pose her with me. Hannah did great, enduring about an hour of shooting without a single groan or complaint even though I know she was not comfortable. But as you can see, she photographs beautifully! This was not the best pic, but one of the few I took with the 50mm. The rest I used the 24-70 2.8L on.

I guess this was my official first senior photo shoot of sorts. I agreed to come over and shoot some pics of her in exchange for $50, some beer and a free meal - hey, it was baked salmon for cryin out loud! MMmmmmm. But please don't tell Prof_Fate what I charged or he'll be all over lecturing me. ;-) I will be giving a CD with all the processed photos to my neighbor and let him get prints.

This turned out quite well for somebody who doesn't like to get her picture taken, and for your first senior session. The bokeh is nice, but what I really like is that light on her hair.

This is so very sweet, and such a lovely composition for this very sweet young lady..... I like how you have taken this Ken and also the story with it. I hope your enjoyed the meal..... I look forward to seeing some more of her as she is just beautiful.....
