The Image: Shot this at Collaroy on Sydney's Northern Beaches. It was early morning just before sunrise and I had a friend with me for safety! Long Exposure...great location...super wide angle...great sky!

The Edit: Well, I can't keep away from these blue tints. They are just spectacular for water shots. Did the usual stuff with levels, d and b, I let the blue line stay it's original blue colour with a mask. But then did another mask to change the hue to green which is punchier. Wish we could submit bigger images, but that debate rages...

Prediction: I think I will give predictions a miss on this one, but I DO predict that many people will recognise this as one of mine!

Post: Glad to have finished where I did. I really love this image. The story behind me getting it will be in my treasured memories for a long time. Sydney's Northern Beaches are spectacular. Thanks for the votes everyone...

Very, very well done. The composition is strong, and like one of your commenters mentioned, there is a nice juxtaposition between stillness and motion. That can be done, but it often comes across as being contrived. It just looks nice in this one. I think you did well in making the stripe a different color. Had it been left bluish, it may not have been as obviously a "single line" as I could see people considering this shot to have two main lines -- the one that is now green, and the one that is largely horizontal.

Technically, it is very well done with regards to color (now we can add hotpasta blue to our drAchoo greens -- grin), exposure, and all that other stuff.

Again, a very nice shot.

I wondered if this was a Pasta. Sorry about the 6. Feel good because I gave Irene a 3. :) I saw too many leading lines in this challenge and not subject lines. Anyway, this is a great shot. You can see I tried the 'pasta blues this challenge, but wound up down in the 50s somewhere. I bow to the master.

You are HOT baby! This is one of my absolute favourites from your Blue series - keep 'em coming buddy - they just keep getting better and better (and I didn't think it was possible!)

Great Job Enzo! Unmistakeably yours. You are the master of B/W IMO and now the master of this Blue Duotone? Love the Blues. Keep doing what you are doing. Always a pleasure to see your work.

I love the colors in this and the surf coming over into the pool really adds to the shot.

tough one. a great picture, but my eye is totally drawn to the water sweeping over the far walkway. Gonna give this a middle of the road score to declare neutrality. 6
