 The alluring beauty of the fire fans in the skilled hands of a very seductive dancer.

I have been spending time shooting within the fire performer community of Dallas and have met a lot of interesting people as a result. Pictured here is my friend, and one of my favorite subjects to photograph, Surya. She is a professional performer and tends to be very aware of the camera and where I am.

I have been shooting within the community for about 6 months now and I can see that my low light camera work has improved quite a bit from the first set. This is my first submission here for a challenge and the first picture I have felt really comfortable about putting out there for critical review by fellow photographers.

Technical details, not too many. Lighting is available light from the fire fans. Aperture is obviously wide open with the shutter speed cranked down because of the lack of lighting.

WOW! Excellent shot! Nothing like it in this challenge, and can't recall seeing anything like it before. I don't normally say what score I'm handing out, but this is a 10!

Great pose, excellent concept, wonderful efforts put. A bit of sharpeness on the model's face and eyes would have made it a winner.

Love the creativity. I think it would have been better if the subject wassnt looking directly into the camera. I think it would have created more of a "allusion" which is what lust is. Love the fire and everything.. its just the eyes :) Great job!

the expression is good, the fire seems to get in the way
