My dog has been on heparin shots, and I'm only allowed to use each syringe once so I've accumulated quite a few.

This shot makes me cringe! I hate needles :) I like how the needle is positioned so that you can see the text "Use Once And Destroy." I don't know if you arranged these at all, but the orange caps seem concentrated on the right portion of the shot, while the subject "use once and destroy" doesn't draw a lot of attention by itself at the bottom... but I guess at the same time, when you see the one at the bottom, you see the "subject also."? - JB

I like your picture, however, the title could use some more drama, llike; "JUNK DREAMS" or "PAST DREAMS OF MY MOTHER" or "SUMMARY OF MY DREAMS"

Okay, here's the thing. We did the same picture. And I know from looking at this picture and how it is staged, that these are new, and not trash. Because I had my head in a bio bucket all week filled with HIV+ bloody needles, and I know you could not have gotten the lighting this good without touching them. And I know that someone with access to medical supplies would not touch dirty needles. Right? But I'm not marking you down for that, just calling you a cheater because you got way better lighting than me. ;) Good idea though! I'm giving you an 8, I think.

a disturbing reflection on our highly technologized healthcare culture that produces a tremendous amount of waste in counterbalance to all that it helps. mag99

Yipes! In this age of disease, seeing so many used needles is a really scary thought.
