 We've had some really thick fog. This was taken on the way home from another location, and I just decided to pop down to the river to see, and found this great boat.

It's tricky to edit an image like this. All the usual tricks like contrast enhancement and sharpening see to work against an image like this, and destroy the mood. So, I had to be really careful about it. In the end, I used pretty much every trick I know to get it looking right. I'm quite happy with the end result, but you never know how it's going to go on dpc.

Oh, and just for the record, this shot was not taken with my wife's P&S. So, it will probably bomb. :)

If THIS bombed, I think I'd have to get my membership money back! This is breathtaking! Congratulations on capturing the type of photo you remember long after a challenge is over! If it were me picking the top 3, this one would have been one of them!

This is so beautiful in multiple ways. I even like the plastic chair taking center stage, not to mention the purplish mood against the warm roof (not voting though)

I really like the feel of this photo. I think I would have preferred it as a horizontal shot and with the boat more to one side rather than centered.
