| I'm just curious to know if this was processed at all using Essential HDR. If not was the lighting just good or did you use curves, or shawdow/highlights? |

i saw this during voting, just having a look to see the submissions .. i didnt vote .. but when i saw this i was so impressed .. i called greg  GregoryB into the room just to see it .. its the most excellent action shot .. congrats on a wonderful photograph and a great place in the challenge .. :) |

| Wow! amazing color.. love it! Only thing I see.. and it's not a major issue..but my eyes are teasing me to try and focus on the hawks eyes.. but I can't.. seems slightly out of focus on the eyes, but maybe it's just me. |

| Beautiful detail, wonderful background colours, great composition (the way the wings are cropped out doesn't bother me and infact it serves to make the portrait seem that much more intimate). Really nice job! |

| What truly makes this amazing, other than the wonderful catch of the bird in flight and great focus on same, is how the bokeh color matches/compliments the eye and beak colors. Very nice composition. |
