 ali, my daughter, had her car broken into last week where she parks every day at macarthur square .. she catches the train from there into sydney ... she wants me to drive her to the train every morning and pick her up at night until she gets a car alarm fitted on friday .. its an hour and a half round trip .. photograph was taken this morning as she was getting out of the car .. she was saying 'dont take a photograph mum .. its embarrassing' ..

This is great! It really shows a slice of life. It kind of has that feel of someone getting into a taxi cab. ;)

This image really tells a story. I can certainly see our girls saying that several years down the road. Love the processing, nice choice with the color.

This is a refreshingly different angle. My daughter gets embarrassed by photo taking in public too. i just ignore her :-)

Oi with the kids! I can't get my middle child to give me anything other than some weird screwed up scary face for my life!!! and the baby hates looking AT the camera!

Nice story. Seems kids are the same everywhere. I like the B&W and somewhat grainy look. Perhaps a little too dark.

Its not embarrassing....Its cool. I loved your slice of life photos last year (blimey is that already a year gone by) and this is a great start to your next series. Great story that puts the shot in context (well not great in terms of what happens but you know what I mean)

Cool grainy black and white conversion, Makes me think of a French film noir.
