 I won't bore you with endless photos of my cats, mainly because they hate to be photographed.

That said - this is Cosima. She loves to be in the sun. In fact, her black fur has started to bleach out a bit from being in the sun so much.

She also has a little sleeping/hiding place under the sewing table. Today I discovered this - she had crawled out from underneath the sewing table to be in the sun and was still half-covered by the table cloth. She's resting her head on the foot of my sewing stool.

Cosima and her sister Phoenix are 17 years old. Recently I noticed that Cos has lost three of her incisors. She looks a bit gummy when she yawns now.

Awww, She reminds me of my first kitty. She knew where every sunbeam would be anywhere in the houe any time of day. At least she was easy to find!

I like the light coming in from the window and shining down on Cosima. My only nitpick is the upper right corner where it's so dark, it just pulls my eye over there.

I find our Abby in the most unexpected places- this is perfect for Cos- a nap in the sun- what more could any kitty want :)

Pets have a way of setting up residence in our hearts and living there forever. Do you want a kitten? My momma car has a litter due any second.

ahhhh cosima .. i'd say this is the luckiest cat in the world ... a mother who loves her to pieces and also takes her photograph incessantly ... a famous and loved and loveable cat ..
great sunny shot .. its winter here as you know and its blowing a gale outside .. bummer i cant walk on the firetrail in this weather .. falling branches and the occasional tree ..
lol about cosima's fur bleaching in the sun .. and i bet she looked as cute as with the table cloth half covering her .. it would have made the best shot .. can you train her to do stuff like that ..!!.. on demand .. !! ..:)
shame about the teeth .. i cant imagine how you'll feel when she leaves you .. 17 years old is a very very old cat .. :)

Wonderful sleeping cat. I think the brown gives something special here.

Reminds me of Achmed, one of our previous cats, born in Egypt, escaped before being transferred to the Czech Republic, lived some years in our house and sadly overridden by a car.
