 The Boys (2 were absent today) were sitting at a table as instructed and I thought this was a sweet moment - they seem to be happy kids, eager to learn - eager for praise and happy to enjoy the end of the day. They kept asking when "free time" was. There's no Free Time during school! That would be anarchy!

They are very happy indeed. When I was in college I taught APE during the summers. Best group of kids I ever had the pleasure to work with. They WANTED to come to school each day... they felt important, safe and included... Nothing like the feeling of providing a kid with that security. Good for you!

Lovely stories that touch my heart. There is potential in every child, even those that have set backs. They certainly seem like happy children and those smiles are contagious.

excellent smiling faces .. moments to cherish .. lucky you take heaps of photographs because you have a record of these special moments .. its easy to forget these times when the going gets tough .. it really helps to remember then .. are you going to give them copies of some of these portraits ?? .. i'm sure they'd be thrilled ... its also excellent to have a teacher who records them at their best .. !! :)
