Ah...I see. Aparently there are many ways to play with flash. I was so pleased with my difusser. I'll have to google this snoot thing - thanks for explaining |

Beautiful with all those light and dark places. Not sure if I understand how you can cancel mid-day sun with a flash, but if you can get this kind of results with it, I certainly have to try that once. |

The whites are so white and so clear.....
A wonderful daisy floral image thats for sure.....
This reminds me of the saying, "as fresh as a daisy".....

A snoot is a long tube or box attached to the front of a strobe or flash. It constricts the spread of light to a narrow beam, like a spotlight. In this case I used the hard direct light to bring out the flowers texture while not lighting the stems and leaves.

Interesting effect the snoot gave you, especially shooting in the sun. It would interesting to see the snoot itself. |

Really pretty, IMO I find the little blur around the flower toward the bottom center a little distracting. You did a great job at not blowing out all those highlights. |
