 We went to the beach to watch a storm come in, but it never came in. So we walked over to the pavilion for some quick flower shots. Cartesia doesn't like to pose, so wickee_one bribed her with some pennies to smell the flowers so she could get a picture. Cartesia smelled them how she wanted and wouldn't look towards wickee_one's camera. Fortunately I was on the other side to get the shot.

I played around with Kubota actions to get the effect and then manually edited her eyes and cloned out a bit of flower that was drawing attention on lower right side. The rotate/resize/sharpen/save for web.

LOL, about the bribe. She needs to learn to like to pose, she's very photogenic!

Working as a pair seems have the right effect! When she's older, you won't be able to catch her out as easily. What a lovely simple shot.

Thank you for capturing the picture I bribed her for :oP You did a wonderful job of accentuating both the flowers and Cartesia. Her bright blue eyes sure stand out in this picture!

I have the same problem with mine. Just does NOT want to look at the camera, though she demands that you look at hers!!

just left a comment on amandas flowers .. & werent you the lucky one .. being in just the right spot to get cartesia as she did it her way ... its a beautiful portrait ken . ..
hmmmmmmmm .. kubota actions .. i'll have to google that .. !!.. i've got kubota sloppy borders but have never seen any actions .. they send me emails occasionally but i never look at them .. maybe i should .. !!..:)
