Now that that flash is off camera it'll never see the hot shoe again! Great shot, beautiful moment. |

Reminds me of my childhood. As the bookworm in our family, it was quite often difficult to get me to pay attention to anything else. Books are cherished items in this household. Very nice family moment. |

This makes me smile. So glad, from a teacher and parental stand point, that reading is something cherished in your household. I would have to agree that it is one of the key elements of a good education. The lighting is just enough to give a relaxing and warm feel to the picture. What a lovely family you have. |

Nightly reading was (and is) a ritual for me. When I was small I shared my room with my Oma (Gramma in German). She read with her glass of brandy and I read with my tiny juice glass of beer. That's a cherished memory for me - thanks for reminding me.
Aren't pictures great that way? Your photo did a very kind thing for me - Thank You :) |

What a cool scene. Love that rug, by the way.

These certainly are moments to be cherished and good for you to capture it. You are building memories they will hold their entire lives.
I see very slight magenta on this uncalibrated (but good monitor). On my calibrated laptop I saw no magenta. |

Bedtime stories are the BEST. My mother read to me and I read to both my daughters. I love this scene, the kids seem so content. |

i think it has a very slight magenta cast, but its not over the top ... its a great shot of your nightly ritual ... i can see the resemblance between your children and your wife . i'm wondering why that fireplace doesnt have a roaring fire, wot with you living in melbourne and all .. heaps colder than our sunny climbs .. lol lol ... altho 1 degree which is wot is was this morning is cold enough for me .. :) |

Hmm.......now on a different monitor, it seems like it has a slight magenta cast.
Does anyone else see it? I have calibrated, with a spyder, but want to get colour management right. |
