 Last night we had a four hour power outage because of a fire burning outside of town. So... what does a DPC-er do in a power outage? Being a city mouse, I figured this is probably one of the few times I'll be able to shoot with practically zero light, so I fooled around with time exposures. Nothing spectacular here, but it's the intersection in front of my building. The outage was spotty but widespread. The folks in the foohills didn't lose power -- just us flatlanders.

What a cool shot! It takes a moment to realize that there are no streetlights in the foreground. This is one of those shots that just pulls you in until you can figure out what's missing.

This is a really cool picture. I think it is great that you made the best of a bad situation. I can't stop looking at those nice bright streeks.

The high contrast from the headlights drew me right into the picture. It's amazing how much light they cast onto the buildings.

and not a bike in sight !!..lol .... well if there were they've become blurs .. great shot of your city ... and i hope life goes back to normal for the ppl soon .. :)
