I downloaded the new version of Artizen today because it's "new and improved" but I'm not overwhelmed. When I combined 5 images for the HDR it still aligned them wrong and created a few artifacts. You can see them in the picture and they are a result of the combining of the bracketed images, not the tonemapping.

I was also disappointed that when I tonemapped in Artizen it caused banding in the sky, even at 32 bits. So this was combined in Artizen and tonemapped in Photomatix.

Edit: I'm whining about the program, not my final result.

Extremely funny title. Another fabulous lighthouse picture from you. I am always amazed at what an eye you have for color and simplicity. I like how the clouds are curved in towards the shore and the land is curved out towards the water.

I don't know how you manage to nail these shots so well. I took a look at Artizen and realised it's pc only, so not compatible with my mac. This is really lovely.

LOL

Beautiful as always. Still think you should do a book or a calendar of these lighthouse images.

I'm with Patio127 on this - your processing is way out of my range, but what you did is really cool. Evokes feeling and tells a story.

Now, just when I've heaped praise on your other half, you go and upstage her (sorry!) with this stunner!.
This is blue ribbon stuff, on so many counts.
