arent insects beautiful .. and who better to photograph them than you sandy ... you'll bring out all their most interesting and appealing features with your excellent photography and processing .. a truly wonderful shot .. i reckon i'll be asking you for advice soon . :) |

Uh-oh, Sandy has a new lens! Love the DOF and almost quizzical tilt to the butterfly's head. I'm betting you ribbon with this lens before the year is out. |

This shot looks like it would be difficult with a living moving little critter. I just got a 105/ 2.8 Micro Nikkor, and can not believe how little DOF there is at max aperture. I use a monopod, and hope that the breeze don't blow.
Nice detail in the antenae, and eyes in this shot. |
