 I think this is a Pheasant as the neighbors all agree.

If I am wrong please let me know.

It often comes into our front garden most afternoons at this time of the year when the grasshoppers are about.

Very intense bird! Certainly not the variety of pheasant we have here in California, but could easily be a pheasant of some sort. Wonderful capture.

Sure is an interesting looking pheasant, or whatever kind of bird. It stands out well against the brightly color background.

Doesn't look like a pheasant I've seen, but then I'm not a pheasant aficionado. This looks a bit mythical, actually - love the photo. How the bird goes well with its surroundings. Excellent shot, Shez.

Wow, that doesn't look like any of the pheasants around here, but on the other side of the world, who knows! Crazy lookin' bird, almost looks like it's have lizard or something with all those little feathers coming off it's head & neck!

That's an amazing shot Shez. It's so sharp and clear. It looks a lot like a porcupine with all the pin feathers.

I know nothing about birds, but this photo looks really great. Nice feathers and colors. I like the blue feet in combination with the blue on the wall.

WOW .. you've really nailed this one ..
the details are amazing .. it looks like it has pin feathers .. i know that from having a budgie .. i could be wrong and it could just be the feathers that sort of bird has .. wotever .. stunning colours again .. your two birds today are total winners .. :)x
