I would have known these were dead if you hadn't mentioned it. I thought they were just some kind of flower similar to a corn flower. Very nice textures and nice composition as well.

LOL, right away I thought of the movie "The 6th Sense". You see dead things!! I'm impressed that you can make dead flowers so intriuging.

"Dead flowers found in an alley behind a Feed Store." I find that fascinating that you were looking behind a feed store in an alley and decided to take a picture of dead flowers. Sounds like something I would do! This is quite the study in tones and textures.

They aren't dead; they're dried and they make a wonderful pattern. Like the color too. Try them as a overlay. 8)

they form the best pattern and would make a mad overlay/texture .. great shot & colours barbara .. they look almost withered from heat .. :)
