 Snakes are a type of 4th of July fireworks we buy here in the States. You light a small black tablet and it fizzles into the black smoky snake you see above. Thanks for asking, shez.

I haven't seen these type of fireworks in a long time. I remember being utterly fascinated by them as a child. I like the remnants of fireworks scattered around and the young feet standing near.

This is quite the nostalgic shot, Roger. Those snakes are fascinating, and I like how you captured the burning mess along with the observer.

Wow, snakes! I used to love "snakes" as a kid -- it was one of the few fireworks we were allowed to play with (sparklers were another). Sometimes it gave the illusion that something was really coming out of the ground.

Welcome! When this was a challenge about feet, I would say they could use some more focus. This looks like a kind of "after the party" photo. Nice flames!
