I like your choice of subject, but the composition isn't quite right, there is an awful lot of negative space all around the building, and I think that is hurting your photo. The sky itself is nice (as in the time of day was a good choice).

I think that the strength of buildings has been tested and sadly, found wanting. but this is a good photo.

Great title, love the comparison. With a strong subject like this, you might want to center it though. It seems out of place when following the rule of thirds.
