 Just popped to the local park at lunchtime as it's actually not raining today, yay :)

Most of the chicks are huge there now but this little fella is quite a way behind!

Awwww it is so cute! Any other picture the position of this chick might seem awkward but it works wonderfully here. Great detail and dof.

Great DOF and sharpness in this shot. Little critters are always a joy to see in photographs. You are giving the 100-400 a workout for this side challenge. It seems to be the right lens for this type of shooting.

brilliant shot .. love the way his little foot is so focused and the sense of movement from the spray of droplets .. i can imagine that little foot was going 100miles/hr and you stopped it at 1/1000 !!.. love this excellent close-up .. :)

I have my camera gear packed up for an air show at the weekend, hence the reason for the 400, and it all goes in a tamrac racksack nicely ... it's a little heavy but I didn't walk too far with it on :)
