I am always surprised when an outstanding photograph like this is not on the front page. It is a truly amazing shot, gorgeous soft muted pastel colours that sooth the eye. Well done

Love the pastels - it gives a far less predatory air to the Dragonfly.

Fantastic colours, looks almost metalic. Definitely in my top 10 for the challenge. I think maybe slightly more DOF on the eye/mouth would have pushed this up - 8
